Saint Gemma Galgani and the guardian angel

The guardian angel assists her; Jesus reproaches her for having left holy communion and invites her to him.
I lasted in this state until yesterday morning Sunday without being able to collect myself any more; I don't miss my guardian angel though: he gives me strength, and I must also say that on Sunday I wasn't hungry, and he himself forced me to eat; and so he did this morning too. Every evening he does not fail to bless me, and also to chastise me and shout at me.
Today Sunday I feel a great need for Jesus, but it is already late, and I still have no hope [of seeing him]; I wait tonight to be free and alone.
He has come, hey!, Jesus; how many reproaches because I did not receive Holy Communion! This is how Jesus reproached me: «Why, oh daughter, do I have to be so often without your visits? And you know how much I long for you to come to me when you're good."
I knelt before Jesus, and crying I said to Him: «But how, my Jesus, are you not yet tired of suffering me with all my coldness? ». «Daughter», he answered me, «make sure that from now on not a day goes by without you coming to me, try to keep your heart purified and decorated with every possible care. Also remove from your heart all love for yourself, and anything that is not entirely mine, and then come and do not be afraid.'
He blessed me, together with all the members of the Sacred College, and went away; indeed finally he recommended that I have a little more strength against the enemy, telling me not to take account of his words, because he is a true liar and seeks every means to make me fall especially with obedience. «Obey, my daughter», she repeated to me, «obey immediately and cheerfully, and to better succeed and win [in] this beautiful virtue, pray to my Mama, who loves you so much». I would have liked to tell him that yesterday his Mama didn't want to come, but ran away.
